| Because they imagine they're better than you. I worked (briefly) for a very wealthy man in the KC area when I first moved here. He was one of the most miserable, judgemental, spiteful, nasty rat-bastards I have ever known, and firmly believed his money conveyed upon him special dispensation to pass judgement on everyone 'beneath' him. |
