As a teenager, I can assure you that not all teenagers are brainless and reckless enough to do something so stupid. I don't read, send, or type any texts while driving. I don't even answer my phone while behind the wheel. Honestly, I am just as baffled as you are when it comes to this topic -- I'm sure that whatever the text says can wait until the recipient reaches their destination.
